Why do we need FFE and DFE
With many application, there is a need to use FFE and DFE to improve BER?
FFE and DFE are used to suppress the effect of the RF line memory. This memory is a results of the internal reflections. In addition to them CTLE is used. DFE must be used with CTLE.
