What can cause the "Body could not be created for part because of invalid parameters to subtract operation" error in HFSS?
A subtract operation in HFSS can fail due to non-manifold edges in certain parts of the geometry. The Parasolid kernel, used in HFSS 23R1 and later versions, does not support creating non-manifold objects. Even with the ACIS kernel, which was used in 22R2 and earlier versions and does allow non-manifold objects, such geometry would still trigger a validation error, especially when the "Strict" option is selected under the "Entity Check Level" setting.
To address this limitation in versions using the Parasolid kernel, it is recommended to split the bodies at the non-manifold edges into separate objects.
