How to translate old legacy Simplorer schematic (.ssh) files into recent Simplorer Releases?
Translating old legacy Simplorer schematics requires importing the files first into Simplorer Release (2015) 16.2 or earlier, then bring it into the current release.
Starting with Simplorer 2016, Simplorere no longer supports Simplorer 7.0 libraries. If you want to port a library from Simplorer 7.0, you must first use Simplorer Release (2015) 16.2 or earlier to translate it, then bring it into the current release.
To import a legacy schematic into release 16 or earlier:
1) Click File > Open
a standar window Open dialog box appears
2) Select Legacy Simplorer Schecmatic (*.ssh) in the files of type drop-dwon menu list to filter the window contents
3) Locate the desired .ssh file and click OK to begin the import process
