How to switch between IC and General modes in HFSS 3D Layout?
You can switch between General and IC modes either from the HFSS 3D Layout menu or from the active design’s Properties window.
A. From the HFSS 3D Layout menu:
1- Navigate to HFSS 3D Layout > Design Settings to open the Design Settings window.
2- Go to the Design Mode tab, select IC or General from the Mode Options area, then click OK.
B. From the active design’s Properties window:
1- In the Project Manager, expand the Project Tree and select the active design folder to populate the Properties window with the design's parameters.
2- Check or uncheck the box under Design Mode > IC mode.
The ribbon and interface will update to match the selected mode, and the Project Manager will also reflect the change. When a design is in IC mode, a small "IC" label appears in the upper-left corner of the design icon.
