How to create the diagnostic files from a Client machine and a License Server machine?
How to create the diagnostic files for a Client machine:
Open the "Ansys Licensing Settings 2023 R2" (The Latest version on the machine)
(For versions released before 2023 R1, the name of the feature is "ANSYS Client Licensing Settings.")
Use the Windows Search in the Windows Start menu
Ansys Licensing Settings will be opened.
To gather diagnostics, simply click on the "Diagnostics" option in the menu. Then, select "Generate" and wait a few seconds for the process to complete.
Go to the specified location where the log files were saved.
How to create the diagnostic files for a License Server machine:
Open the “ANSYS License Management Center”
Use the Windows Search in the Windows Start menu
ANSYS License Management Center will be opened.
To gather diagnostics, click on the "Gather Diagnostics" menu and select "Save to file". Wait a few seconds for the process to complete. Once finished, the diagnostic file will be saved as a ZIP file.
