How can I launch Ansys Fluent’s Web Interface?

This article informs the reader on how to launch the Ansys Fluent Web Interface.  The Fluent Web UI supports multiple simultaneous connections, a remote file browser, and the ability to pause and resume jobs. You can change boundary conditions, solution controls, and more during calculations. Additionally, you can create, edit, and display graphics objects during calculations. Launching Fluent’s Web UI involves several steps.

Launching Fluent Web Interface

Starting a Session: Begin by starting a Fluent session and opening at least a case file. You can access your Fluent session using the web interface even if you start Fluent in batch mode without a graphics window and user interface, using the -g or -gu command line options. Starting the web server through the File menu is done by selecting File > Web Server > Start. This will open the Specify Web Server Details dialog box.

Using the Interface: Once your session is open, the Fluent web UI allows you to monitor simulation results, pause, edit, and restart jobs in real time from any web browser. You can make setup adjustments in real time and post-process results without transferring large data files back to your local machine. This is particularly useful when running simulations on remote hardware.

The web UI enables you to remotely interact with simulations running on the cloud or on-premises high-performance computing clusters. It supports large-scale parallelization of massive computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations by utilizing multi-GPU and cloud computing capabilities
