Discovery - Unexpected Error

How to fix: "The Application failed to initialize. This may be caused by an issue with the installation"

Sometimes when opening Discovery you may run into the error: "The Application failed to initialize. This may be caused by an issue with the installation." There are a few possible ways to fix this error.

1. In your Windows Settings, go to System-> Display-> Graphics, and find Ansys Discovery. Set the graphics preference to High Performance to use your dedicated GPU instead of an integrated GPU.  

2. Change which ports your monitor is plugged into. Sometimes you can run into errors if your display is plugged into the GPU display port. Switching which port it is plugged into, or swapping what ports your monitors are plugged into can fix the issue.

3. Roll back any GPU driver updates. This can sometimes cause issues.
