Workbench Archive button greyed out
How to fix a greyed out archive button
Ansys cannot archive a project while there are tasks running. Sometimes a background task will be incorrectly created.
We can check if a project or analysis is running by checking to see if there is a red indicator in the bottom left corner of the Workbench window.
We can end background tasks by going to the bottom right of the Workbench window and clicking on "Show Progress." This opens up a tab that shows the different processes running.
If there is an incorrectly created background task, it may be labeled as "untracked background task." We can click on the red X button next to them to end the process.
When there are no processes running, workbench should be able to create an archive.
